Restock
When a sold-out product is replenished — genuine for busy shops, but a "restock" countdown can also be used to rush buyers into a purchase.
Restock refers to the act of replenishing a product that has sold out on an autobuy marketplace. For legitimate sellers with high demand, a restock indicates they are making more of a popular item available. This is a normal part of managing digital goods inventory. However, buyers should be aware that a "restock countdown" or "limited restock" notification can also be a tactic to create artificial urgency. Sellers might use this to pressure buyers into making a purchase before they have sufficient time to verify the product's legitimacy or the seller's reputation. Always prioritize checking seller reviews and understanding the refund policy before rushing into a purchase based on a restock announcement.
The seller announced a restock of their game keys, but the countdown timer felt unusually short.
